Read MoreIf you're here reading this then you clearly have an interest in colouring comics. If that's the case then you should sign up to this course immediately. If you're not interested in colouring comics then what on earth are you doing here?! I got into reading comics a couple of years back, and became very interested in color theory and technique. I started to teach myself from various tutorials online. However you soon find that everyone has a different approach to colouring comics and it can become quite difficult to piece them all together into a cohesive technique that you can use for your own work. That's where this course absolutely excels. It takes you from receiving inked pages all the way up to sending the final coloured page to your client. That's another great thing about this course, it definitely approaches it from an industry stand point. So it's not just learning to colour, it's learning about colour profiles for when the pages are printed and how best to send the completed pages. The colouring techniques covered in this course are also first class. I can't begin to explain how much my colours improved in such a short space of time. I went from messing around in Photoshop producing some pretty poor examples of comic colouring to being hired to complete a full 22 page comic within about 2 weeks of completing this course, and at a page rate of £20 the course more than paid for itself! The last thing I want to say about this course, and it's probably the best thing about it, is that it comes with a download of Charlie's photoshop presets and more importantly his actions. If you don't know what photoshop actions are then they will change your life! And that's no exaggeration. Charlie has set up a great deal of actions which removes a lot of effort and technical no how when getting the pages set up throughout the various stages of colouring. This allows you to get straight into it and saves a heck of a lot of time! Again another great thing for when you're working to a deadline. If you're interested in colouring comics or want to improve your workflow then this is the course for you. You won't regret it. I would also like to take this opportunity to personally thank Charlie for putting this course together and sharing his knowledge, which is no doubt the result of many hard years of work in the industry. Thanks for sharing Charlie! Keep up the awesome work.

Read MoreColoring today is amazing. More vibrant, more stunning, and much more complicated. Charlie Kirchoff has been able to break down the coloring process in to easy to follow segments. The lessons don't confuse or overwhelm. They allow a person to move at their own pace. Being a part of the FB page lets the student talk to others and enjoy quick updates from Charlie that fill in or detail specific points. For a young artist with some computer skills who would like to work in the Comics industry or publish their own original, these classes are great value for the money.
